So Mrs. Jessica and I have been trying to sync our schedules to photograph her oldest daughter for the last 4 months now. Finally, I said "Let's do it monday, 6pm." The day was everything I wanted it to be light-wise: by 6pm the sun was golden in the sky, adn almost to the horizon in the west. However, the temperature was sorely DISAGREEABLE. It was brisk and a bit windy, with an all-over chill in the air. And omigosh, I had asked Nena's mother, Mrs. Jessica to bring bohemian-style, summer dresses!
The whole family came to the shoot, and Nena's parents were amazingly instrumental in getting her to scintillate for the camera, especially since her three-year-old mind could hardly forget she was in 40 degree weather in a summer dress!!
But Nena ROCKED. She has the maturity of a six year old, and behaves just like her beautiful, loving mother and father.
When I got home later that evening, I remembered that I shot the whole session with an iso of 100, and was therefore SCARED to look at the results.
But I was ANYTHING but disappointed when I opened up that folder. WOW. This girl brought it to the shoot, for someone who was freezing her arms off. Total kudos to that little rockstar.
